Gina R. Briggs
"Weaving stories about big feelings"
Hello, magical reader! My name is Gina. I'm a scrappy indie author (but I'll also answer to "wordsmith witch") who's been intrigued by storytelling since I acquired the dexterity to click the Microsoft Word icon. There's nothing I'm more passionate about than the chemistry between reader and author.
I don't write to please, I write for my soul.
But in equal part, I write for the conversations sparked from reading something truly memorable.I can promise you authenticity, probably some tears, and always a dash of whimsy. Sound good?
Let's take a journey together through the written word.

About
Gina R. Briggs is a self-taught writer who refuses to stick to one genre. With a background in theatre and education, she wore many tiaras (because hats don't have enough sparkle) before finding her creative home in fiction. She holds a BFA in Acting from Belmont University and an MA in Human Communication Theory from Arizona State.Currently residing in the Sunshine State, Gina lives with her husband, furry familiars, and daughter. After losing her first child, Gina has become an advocate for pregnancy and infant loss awareness. She is compelled to share her unique journey to motherhood with others in the hopes of shattering harmful stigmas. Her publishing house, Poppy & Rose Press, is named for her girls.A proud Quill & Cup "Hedgie," Gina is a pantser-turned-plotter who knows from experience that this whole writing thing is more fun when done in community. For more, please check out Gina's interview with Bold Journey Magazine.
